In order to evaluate the overall energy utilization conditions of central heating systems, performs the thermodynamics analysis of central heating systems by establishing energy and exergy analysis models of heating systems using energy and exergy analysis methods, and calculates the thermal performance of heat source plant of a heating system in Tianjin. The results show that the energy efficiencies of the first and second heat source plant are 32.56% and 57.03% respectively, and the exergy efficiencies are 7.77% and 13.88% respectively. The energy efficiency of the heating system is low, and the exergy efficiency is worse, which has a large potential for energy saving.
